This Privacy Policy explains how Market Digital LLC ("Mapable," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use mapable.com and related services, including Market Engine.
1. Introduction & Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to mapable.com, customer portals, onboarding pages, support communications, and all related products and services operated by Market Digital LLC under the Mapable brand.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: name, email, phone number, business name, business details, and billing address.
Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers.
Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration, clicks, browser type, device metadata, and IP address.
Map data: cemetery records, GPS coordinates, media uploads, section layouts, and related mapping content.
Communications: support requests, chat messages, and email correspondence.
Integration data: information exchanged through Market Engine and mapping integrations used to provide service functionality.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information to create and manage accounts, deliver mapping and business tools, process billing, provide support, improve reliability and product performance, detect fraud and abuse, send operational communications, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Cookies & Tracking
We use session cookies for authentication (including Supabase auth sessions), analytics technologies to understand platform usage, and preference cookies that remember settings. You can manage cookie behavior in browser controls, but disabling certain cookies may limit service functionality.
5. Third-Party Services & Data Sharing
We use service providers, including Stripe (payments), Supabase (authentication and database), Mapbox (mapping), Google Maps (satellite imagery), Market Engine (CRM and communications workflows), and ElevenLabs (AI voice assistant capabilities). These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations. We do not sell personal data.
6. AI Features Disclosure
Ali, our AI assistant, uses conversation context to respond to support requests and product guidance. Conversation data may be processed by third-party AI service providers to deliver responses. We do not use customer data to train third-party AI foundation models.
7. Data Retention
We retain data while your account is active and as needed for legal, accounting, security, and dispute resolution requirements. When you request deletion, we delete or anonymize data subject to applicable retention obligations.
8. Data Security
We apply technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is completely risk-free, but we continuously work to protect customer data.
9. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of your personal data, and you may opt out of marketing messages at any time.
California residents may have rights under CCPA/CPRA, including rights to know, delete, and opt out of data sale. Mapable does not sell personal data and does not discriminate for exercising privacy rights.
EEA and UK residents may have rights under GDPR, including consent withdrawal, data portability, restriction, and objection to certain processing.

10. Children's Privacy
Mapable services are not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware of such data, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
11. International Data Transfers
Mapable services are operated from and processed in the United States. By using the service, you consent to processing and transfer of data to the United States where privacy protections may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will provide notice through email or in-app communication. Continued use of the service after updates means you accept the revised policy.
